Overview

Summer Internship - Category Management/Brands and Pricing 

To deliver profitable sales for both wholesale and our independent retail customers.

  • Research current program’s process
  • Develop SOP that helps with efficiency
  • Create a calendar that keeps the team on track to meet deadlines
  • Suggest a follow up procedure for reporting of programs

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • System Processes and root cause analysis
  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify and solve problems 
  • Developing corrective action plans 
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Data reporting and analysis.

 

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A curious learner with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
  • Experience or coursework in business, merchandising, or operations.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools or experience with tracking systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with process improvement techniques or methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

 

Skills the intern is expected to learn.

  • Systems and process, root cause analysis. Corrective action planning.
  • Understanding systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify and solve problems.
  • Developing corrective action plans to address inefficiencies.
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Using calendars and tools to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Learning data reporting and analysis techniques.
  • Collaborating with teams and improving communication skills.
  • Gaining insights into merchandising and retail operations.
