Overview

Summer Internship - Industrial Engineer Supply Chain 

 

Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, implementing best practices and lean principles to drive efficiency in our warehouse setting.

 Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize existing supply chain process in the food distribution domain.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks:

 

  • Utilize data analysis tools to evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in the supply chain.
  • Assist in the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as robotics and artificial intelligence, to enhance automation within the food distribution center.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, implementing best practices and lean principles to drive efficiency.
  • Document project plans, progress reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to automation projects.
  • Other tasks as needed. 

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on supply chain management, logistics, or automation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Knowledge of industrial engineering principles and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and their application in supply chain management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Ergonomics
